It’s Dylan and Rose! First off, to our new Grade Nines, International Students and Transfer Students - Welcome! We hope you haven't been too swamped with schoolwork and have been able to have fun getting used to life at Bell. And to everyone back at Bell for another year - Hey guys. We missed you. (Seriously.)
At the beginning of our grade nine year we were given some advice that really helped make our years at Bell rock our socks off. We feel like it’s our duty to let you guys, our fellow students, in on our secret to warm, fuzzy school spirit and a need for some sturdier socks: Get involved. Just jump in. Join a club, try out for a sports team, play in band! In thirty years, you probably won't open up your yearbook and flash back to a ninth grade Geography presentation. It will be the memories you created with everyone you met through the clubs and sports teams you joined that will make you say, "I remember that!" in such a fond way. So get involved! Attend a club meeting, join an intramural sports team… and did we mention the upcoming dance?
Students’ Council (SC) is all geared-up and is looking forward to another great year jam-packed with awesome events! We've got some really exciting stuff already in the works for you, so keep your eyes peeled and your ears open! Upcoming events for this year include the 30-Hour Famine (Nov. 20th –21st), “In The Jungle” Dance (Oct. 30th) and much, much more!
