At Math Club meetings, we do and discuss challenging problems with like-minded individuals. We complete questions from past Waterloo contests (COMC, Pascal, Cayley, Fermat, Euclid, Fryer, Galois, Hypatia, etc). We engage in fierce debate on interesting proofs. We practice questions for other contests that we participate in. We do everything mathematical, including mathematical nerdy pickup lines.
We participate in math contests. This includes monthly Math League contests, Waterloo contests, Kangaroo contests, and any other that is interesting.
Sound interesting? Want more information on contests? Then join us. We meet every Friday at lunch in Room 232. We welcome everyone, in any grade.
Feel free to email any questions to mathclub@bellhs.net.
No knowledge of integrals, calculus, vectors, chaos theory, combinatorics or other deep mathematical knowledge is required to join. But, they’re interesting topics to know about. It’s nice if you do know how they work.
