Dear GloBell Roar Readers...

As you can see, this year we’re looking at Bell High’s official newspaper from a different perspective. For one thing, the layout and logo (thanks to Bensun Fong) have had a definite refresh, but we also have a new name, to reflect our school’s new direction.

The general concept of our paper, to inform the school population, is still intact. Instead of simply recounting issues in our community and the world at large, we are now being recognized for it and are that much closer to becoming a Global Learning Centre (GLC), which is a concept designed by The International School Connection (ISC) that fosters systemic school development in response to global dynamics changing our lives.

What you will be reading is a new and improved version of the Roar, written by students especially for students at Bell High School. I guarantee there is something for everyone and I feel so privileged to be able to bring this luxury to you, as your editor-in-chief for the 2008-2009 school year.

Enjoy!
