During the battles of the grades on fame day, there were quite a few people dressed up as Ke$ha: messy hair, smudged makeup and of course, glitter.
Career
Ke$ha’s started out as background vocals and a songwriter for other. Her debut to fame was on Flo Rida’s #1 single “Right Round” in 2009. Many wondered who the female vocals could be by. After releasing her single “Tik Tok”, it came out that Ke$ha was the behind the mystery vocals.
Ke$ha’s states that all her lyrics are from her own life experiences, yet people do not take her lyrics literally enough. Perhaps it is difficult to believe that anyone has the lack of fundamental hygiene skills to brush teeth with a bottle of whiskey.
Life
Kesha Rose Sebert (aka Ke$ha) was born in L.A. California on March 1st 1987. Her mother, Pebe Sebert, was a singer and song writer, always encouraging Kesha to sing and bringing her along to recording studios along with her two brothers.
Kesha was a student at Franklin High School and Brentwood High School. She described herself as a “vary studious” student. Often after school Kesha and her mother would sit together and write songs.

April - Kelly Clarkson
April showers bring May flowers. April also brought many people, some now famous. This month's featured celebrity will be none other than Miss Kelly Clarkson. Born on April 24 1982, Clarkson has become a household name.
Career
Kelly Clarkson's rise to stardom started with her winning the first season of American idol. For the finale, she sang three songs: "A Moment Like This" and "Before Your Love", both written by herself, and "Respect" by Otis Redding. She has released 4 albums so far: Thankful, Breakaway (dual Grammy Award winner), My December and All I Ever Wanted.
Clarkson has also starred in the box-office bomb From Justin to Kelly. She has also appeared in a skit on MADtv, a couple of times on Saturday Night Live and on American Dreams.
Life
Kelly Clarkson grew up in a suburb of Fort Worth in Texas. While in middle school, she wanted to become a marine biologist but reconsidered after seeing the movie Jaws. One day a teacher heard her singing and asked her to audition for the school's choir. Clarkson never seriously thought about singing until high school, when she aspired to a college scholarship for vocals. During these four years, she participated in 3 musical productions put on by the school.
Fun Facts:
- When Kelly Clarkson graduated she had a couple of scholarship offers but decided not to go because she had "already written so much music and wanted to try it on her own," and also thought "you're never too old to go to college."
- "God has given you this gift. You've got to sing. You're destined to sing." Clarkson was truly inspired after hearing these words.
- She has 2 older siblings.
